I have had only good experiences at Max-Bilt. The main thing is: they listen to your concerns and will problem solve to get the problem resolved amen care of. In particular I appreciate the scheduling that accommodated my schedule. I come from 3.5 hour drive away to use this shop for a reason. They know what they’re doing and they listen to the customer. I had a noise on my Jeep that I was concerned about— instead of blowing it off, Skylar in particular took the time to ride with me to hear the sound. He was great at figuring out the issue, which was not obvious. By the way, (Skylar has done a lot of work on my TJ build and he is an exceptional welder!) The problem was found, and they had the part in stock to fix the issue right away. Secondly, I had my 2015 F-250 scheduled to fix a “death wobble” that was serious. The schedule and shop coordinator Chris handled the situation. He scheduled me so that I would not have to come back a second time from my distance. Met Phil while looking for custom wood. Asked him about someone that might do small welding jobs. He told me about MaxBilt. Great place! They took my small job and turned it around. Reasonable price and high quality work. Phil an Chris were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend them and MaxBilt. Thanks!

During the inspection, the technician discovered a rear dual tire in marginal condition. If this tire had blown, it would have very likely damaged the truck. I’m very glad they caught it. Top end service from start to finish. This place delivers.

If I could give negative stars I would. They charged me $2000 to "get me driving down the road". They changed front ball joints which I provided, and they said I would be safe to drive it after that. I can't drive my jeep because it's unsafe. When I brought it back, they refused to do anything to correct it and said they wanted another $1100 to change a gear box. Here we are, brand new gear box and still unchanged. I talked to a mechanic at another shop and he said the geometry is wrong. So why pay these people when they don't do an adequate job? Absolute con artists! Will not work with Chris or Adam again.

May 26 - Just had more work done at Max-bilt. I’m now ready to tackle the Rubicon Trail this summer. Also, made a modification (steering stabilizer upgrade) that makes my jeep handle much better on the road. Awesome group of guys to work with! And you know if they are good at technical modifications and restores, they will be able to handle any routine work you have as well! Summer of 25 - While we were on a vacation road trip, we had a break down/brake down that really confused the on board computer disabling the Jeep. Phil came with a trailer, picked us up and provided us a loaner to finish our vacation. While we were relaxing, the crew at Max-Bilt got everything sorted and road ready! THANKS FOR SAVING OUR VACATION and getting us back on the road! Awesome service from great people!
